Weekly affirmations

To give back to this wonderful diabetes online community, from this week on, every week, I will post positive affirmations in my blog feed and on Instagram. 2020 has been a rough year and battling a chronic illness amidst all of this *gestures widely* we can all use some more positivity!

Positive affirmations can help change negative thought patterns into positive ones. When you repeat them, you take charge of the way you think, one positive thought at a time. Since diabetes is challenging and can lead to negative thoughts very easily, I think it’s important to work against that to stay balanced and happy.
